The Enterprise Risk Lead Specialist is responsible for supporting the Global Enterprise Resilience and Risk Intelligence Programs, including vendor risk, global resilience, and risk intelligence. Ensures the daily work associated with the Programs business processes are carried out timely and accurately and escalates issues as needed to Managers.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the guidance of Management, performs various vendor risk, global resilience, and risk intelligence information gathering and process execution activities.
- Appropriately escalates issues promptly to Manager as needed.
- Collaborates with various levels of staff and management to ensure requirements of the Programs are understood and consistently applied across the enterprise.
- Provides education to stakeholders as needed to promote compliance with the Programs.
- Serves as a point of contact for business line stakeholders who participate in or interact with various elements of the Programs.
- Drives projects forward; leads meetings with senior internal stakeholders, vendors, and escalates issues.
- Assists in the preparation of materials for periodic management reporting requirements as well as reporting to various committees and the Boards.
- Develops and maintain work/job aid procedures for activities they are responsible for.
- Generates ideas for process improvement and process efficiencies, as needed.
- Trains and supports new team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in a quantitative field (i.e. Finance, Math, Economics).
- 5-6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a vendor oversight, enterprise or operational risk role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization in a consultative role.
- Proven analytical skills with strong ability to write effectively and present research/analysis.
- Must be thorough and detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to function with high degree of independence and accuracy.
- Must take ownership of delivery of activities while operating in a cross-functional team environment.
- Previous demonstrated experience with the Archer GRC tool for vendor management.
