Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
  • Ensure high-quality images are obtained and accurately interpret them for clinical evaluation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Document and communicate findings to the medical team in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in performing a range of ultrasound procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a primary care or outpatient setting.
