Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
- Ensure high-quality images are obtained and accurately interpret them for clinical evaluation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Document and communicate findings to the medical team in a timely manner.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in performing a range of ultrasound procedures.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed.
