My Client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who is also a fully qualified plumber. This role promises the right applicant a long-term and secure career in plumbing within a well-recognised and established M&E firm that has served the construction industry for well over 35 years.
Responsibilities:
- Specialising in the multi-residential new build construction industry.
- Attending to varied plumbing issues that may arise within our main contractors' defect liability period.
- Dealing with daily maintenance issues when required.
- Playing a part in the out of hours rota (every other week) whereby most faults can be rectified over the telephone, with additional financial benefits for time spent on call.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Plumbing.
- Qualifications in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering.
- Gold CSCS Card holder preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Previous experience in team and independent working is advantageous.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace.
