MFK Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join one of our clients based in West London. They are looking for a talented Criminal Paralegal to support their team of Criminal Defence Solicitors. If you’re a Paralegal with experience in Criminal Defence, who has the desire to learn and develop your career, then we’d love to hear from you. At least 12 months experience in a Criminal Defence role, along with a passion for Criminal Defence is essential. Paralegal – What you’ll be doing: * Conduct thorough legal research, gather evidence, and prepare case files for criminal defence cases. Assist in identifying relevant legal precedents and statutes. * Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests. Ensure all documents are compliant with court requirements and deadlines. * Assist in organizing and managing case files, keeping them up-to-date and ensuring all necessary documentation is available for attorneys during hearings, trials, and meetings. Paralegal – What we’re looking for: * At least 12 months experience as a criminal defence paralegal * Demonstrated passion and interest in criminal defence work, with a desire to make a meaningful impact in the legal field. * Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment. * Comfortable using digital tools and software. Must be proficient in working with a fully computerised, paperless office environment, and familiar with integrated practice case management systems. Please note that to be successful you MUST be based in the UK, have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship, and ideally you will have at least 1 year experience as a paralegal
