CAD Technician – Job Summary My client is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their dynamic team in commercial kitchen ventilation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design in the kitchen or Ventilation sector, as well as proficiency in multiple CAD applications. The CAD Technician will collaborate with project engineers & managers as well as kitchen designers to ensure that designs meet specifications and project requirements. CAD Technician – Responsibilities * Collaborate with the team and clients to understand the design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. * Create detailed kitchen layouts using AutoCAD and other CAD software to produce accurate schematics. * Conduct root cause analysis to identify potential design issues and propose effective solutions. * Utilise systems engineering principles to optimise kitchen Ventilation functionality. * Incorporate mechanical knowledge in the design process, ensuring all designs comply with construction standards. * Perform data analysis skills to assess client needs and preferences effectively. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technology relevant to kitchen design.
