What we’re looking for:
- Approximately 18 months’ practical experience working with AV equipment
- Experience with sound, projection and video systems
- The ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot AV equipment
- Experience providing IT support within a Microsoft Windows environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm and solutions-focused approach when working under pressure
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
- A genuine passion for AV and technology
Industry-recognised AV or IT qualifications, such as CTS, Microsoft or CompTIA A+, would be beneficial but are not essential.
This is a full-time, site-based position. The role includes attendance at up to 25 evening events each year, with hours normally offset through adjusted working hours or time off in lieu. Overtime may occasionally be available. A term-time-only arrangement, plus two additional weeks, may also be considered with the salary adjusted accordingly. The successful candidate will receive 22 days’ annual leave and access to excellent training, professional development and career progression opportunities. Due to the school-based nature of the position, employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and safer recruitment checks.
