My client, a B-Corp consumer eco-product company is looking for a strong National Account Manager for their retail business. The job holder will take full P&L responsibility for their growing retail portfolio, including volume, Gross Profit and Trade investment, as well as market share and sales growth. Experience getting consumer products listed with the major supermarket multiples is a must. The company is already having some success in this space, but there is still plenty of room to grow.
Role Specifics:
- Establish and maintain solid business relationships within the customer organisation, mobilising and optimising all resources available.
- Negotiate and agree trading agreements with internal and external customers which are designed to achieve financial targets.
- Build and present business plans (incorporating NPD) and supporting strategy (across promotions and pricing) to the customer to drive growth.
- Ensure that all internal and external (retailer) customer requirements are actioned and communicated in a timely manner.
- Implement category strategies and continuously liaise across internal Category Business Teams to meet trading and performance objectives.
