Role: Legal Executive, up to Senior Associate level, 5+PQE

Division: Commercial Property

Location: Telford

Hours: Full Time

Hybrid working: Flexible (up to 2 days from home p/w) according to business needs

Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role if…

you are a commercial property Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), handling a varied and complex mix of transactional work. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking team and law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Acting on sales, purchases, and leases of commercial premises including non-contentious landlord and tenant work
  2. Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, and agreements for lease
  3. Advising landlords and tenants on their rights and obligations
  4. Dealing with property finance and development transactions
  5. Conducting due diligence including title investigations and reports
  6. Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support

Requirements:

  • Qualified Legal Executive in England & Wales with 5 years’ PQE in general commercial property work
  • Solid experience in acquisitions, disposals, and commercial leases
  • Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
  • Excellent client care and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
  • A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
