Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role if…
you are a commercial property Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), handling a varied and complex mix of transactional work. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking team and law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting on sales, purchases, and leases of commercial premises including non-contentious landlord and tenant work
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, and agreements for lease
- Advising landlords and tenants on their rights and obligations
- Dealing with property finance and development transactions
- Conducting due diligence including title investigations and reports
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
Requirements:
- Qualified Legal Executive in England & Wales with 5 years’ PQE in general commercial property work
- Solid experience in acquisitions, disposals, and commercial leases
- Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent client care and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
- A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
