About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security Consultant to help organisations improve their cyber resilience by changing behaviours, strengthening security culture, and embedding secure ways of working across the business.

This is not a traditional cyber security engineering role.

Instead, you will work at the intersection of cyber security, behavioural change, organisational change, communications, and consulting.

You will help clients understand their current security culture, identify behavioural risks, and design practical interventions that create sustainable improvements across their workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess organisational security culture and maturity, identifying behavioural risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and deliver behaviour change programmes, including Security Champion initiatives, user engagement, culture transformation, and human-centred security interventions.
• Develop engaging security awareness campaigns, phishing awareness initiatives, workshops, communications, learning content, and executive messaging.
• Work directly with clients to run discovery workshops, assess maturity, present findings, develop roadmaps, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across security, risk, compliance, HR, communications, and executive leadership.
• Translate complex cyber security concepts into clear, engaging language for non-technical audiences.
• Support business development through proposal writing, bid support, thought leadership, and capability development.
• Contribute to the growth of the Cyber Security Culture practice and support the development of junior consultants.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in cyber security culture, security awareness, behavioural change, human risk, cyber advisory, or organisational change.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with clients.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Experience designing or delivering security awareness campaigns, behaviour change initiatives, or organisational culture transformation programmes.
• Practical knowledge of cyber security and an understanding of how human behaviour impacts organisational security.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations to leadership teams.
• A strong understanding of communications and engagement strategies.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business development and client growth.
• Experience with Security Champion programmes, behavioural science, human factors, regulated industries, or human risk platforms would be advantageous.
• Relevant cyber security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or ISO27001 would also be beneficial.
