The Opportunity
Interested in joining a fast growing international fintech? Due to growth, they are seeking an additional Financial Assistant to join their finance team supporting predominately their Canadian operation plus their European entities.
The role
- Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will lead on some of the core activities
- Daily multi-currency bank recs across Canadian Dollar, GBP and Euro
- Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Day to day invoice processing and postings to Xero
- Investigating and resolving daily recs breaks
- Support month end and year-end financial reporting
- Providing information to support regulatory reporting for Canadian entity
What experience will you have?
- You will have a minimum of 1 years accounts/finance experience within AP/AR and or bank recs
- You may be studying for your AAT or ACCA/CIMA
- Any experience of working with multi-currencies an advantage
