Great opportunity to join this alternative lending fintech reporting to the CFO as Head of FP&A. This will be a key figure in supporting the growth of the business across all aspects of FP&A and business partnering with exposure to Exco.
The role includes:
- Lead on strategic financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis across their lending product portfolio
- Assist in modelling funding strategies and impact thereof across warehouse funding lines, securitisation vehicles and SPVs
- Analyse loan book performance across key financial metrics such as NIM analysis
- Prepare monthly board packs
- Act as lead finance business partner to product teams, credit, risk and treasury and Exco
- Build out the FP&A function and capabilities to support continued growth including hiring and FP&A tools
- Lead the annual budget process and rolling forecasts
What skills are we looking for?
- Qualified accountant with in-depth experience of working within FP&A and business partnering within an alternative lending business or retail banking type operation
- Experience of financial products such as mortgages and bridging loans
- Capable excel financial modeller with regards loan performance, cashflow waterfalls, stress scenarios and funding cost models
- Ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders within the business
- Willingness to be hands on in the detail and operate strategically within a scaling up business
Remote / office working: This could be anywhere from 2 days per week in the office to 1 day every 2 weeks for the right candidate. This is a Birmingham located role.
