The Company

Fast growing start-up UK based Fintech alternative lender now looking to strengthen the finance function with the recruitment of a Financial Controller reporting to the CFO.

The role

This role will be responsible for managing the company’s financial reporting, controls and regulatory compliance including.

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including consolidation of entities/SPV’s
• Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls and policies
• Oversee loan book accounting
• Manage treasury and liquidity reporting, bank covenant monitoring and securitisation reporting
• Prepare regulatory returns for submission to FCA
• Lead external audit and work with external tax advisors as required
• Continue to hire and build a high quality finance team

Your experiences

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post qualified experience
• Experience working within lending companies or retail banks
• Strong technical experience across loan book accounting, IFRS, reporting
• Experience within a start-up or scale-up advantageous, this is a hands on role
