We are seeking a passionate and skilled Martial Arts Instructor to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis with the potential to go full-time as you grow within the company. The ideal candidate will have a background in martial arts and/or experience in sports coaching, with the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. As a Martial Arts Instructor, you will play a crucial role in developing students' skills, confidence, and discipline while fostering a positive and supportive training environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging martial arts classes for various age groups and skill levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on technique, fitness, and personal development.
- Educate students on the principles of martial arts, including respect, discipline, and self-defence.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Maintain a safe and organised training environment by ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Foster a sense of community among students by encouraging teamwork and camaraderie.
- Participate in promotional events and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of martial arts training.
Experience:
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching martial arts is desirable (for example, you could be a level 2 fitness instructor or level 3 personal trainer).
- Some knowledge of various martial arts disciplines (e.g., Karate, Taekwondo, kickboxing) is preferred, but not mandatory as training is provided by us.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- A passion for fitness and personal development, with a positive learning atmosphere.
- Any relevant certifications or qualifications in martial arts instruction are advantageous but not mandatory, as mentioned before training is provided by us.
