We are looking for a Transport Planner to join the team at our Swindon depot!

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Plan and coordinate daily vehicle movements and driver schedules across the UK.
  • Ensure fleet utilization is efficient and cost-effective.
  • Monitor driver hours, tachograph compliance and transport KPIs.
  • Maintain transport records, servicing schedules and compliance documentation.
  • Support route optimisation to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Assist with fleet maintenance planning, MOTs and defect reporting.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Transport Planner/Transport Coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of drivers hours, tachograph regulations, and transport compliance.
  • Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS).
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills using Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of O License compliance.
  • Previous experience within 3PL or multi-customer operations.
