We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our Swindon Depot. You will be a vital part of our logistics team ensuring the smooth coordination of the daily routes to meet customer requirements and remain compliant with relevant regulations. This is a standalone role so you must have experience of planning multiple drops on routes in and around the South of England for up to 15 HGV vehicles.

What will you be doing?
- You will be planning routes for a fleet of HGV vehicles around the South of England as well as monitoring driver performance and maintaining accurate records of transport activities.
- Ensure all regulations are adhered to
- Identify process improvements
- Review driver Tacho data monthly
- Raise purchase orders
- Complete driver debriefs
- Provide reports and updates to the Site Manager
- Deal with enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with yearly stock take over one weekend
- Any transport related adhoc tasks
