Assistant Ops Manager- Nights
We have an exciting Assistant Warehouse Manager opportunity at our Tilbury Depot. You will be responsible for overseeing the night shift warehouse operations.

What will you be doing?
You will be assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the night shift operations.
It would be beneficial for you to have had experience in all fundamental warehouse processes, but full training can be provided.
Duties include:-
- Achieve operational objectives and ensure KPI’s are met
- Work with the Night Shift Manager on the loading of vehicles with Timber/Decorative products
- Lead the warehouse team
- Meet and greet HGV drivers
- Complete final checks of 20 -22 vehicles ensuring the correct products have been loaded
- Check orders picked from FLT drivers to ensure the correct product has been picked- overseeing up to 5 members of staff
- Promote and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures
- Employee management; absences, disciplinaries etc.
- Knowledge of picking, loading vehicles, replenishment of stock and goods in and out
Am I right for the job?
- Experience in a similar warehouse management role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence with the ability to take responsibility
- Ability to learn quickly, respond positively to changing demands, embrace and implement new ideas
- FLT Counterbalance certificate is required
