Our client manufactures paving slabs & block paving for residential and commercial businesses. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known and established company at their site in St Ives. Working within an industrial production environment, this role will be ongoing with the potential to be permanent, which is the appeal of this work. You must come from a manufacturing background It is important that you can commit and be flexible to work on all 12-hour shift rotations of Days & Nights. That you are reliable, very physically fit, and able to work as part of a team. If you check out the hours below you would only be working 4 shifts the 1st week, 3.5 shifts the 2nd week and only 3 shifts the 3rd week! Duties include: · General labouring and manual work – moving products, paving slabs, and block paving around the site. ·· Working on a production line. · Loading materials into machines. · Machine minding. · Stacking and packing finished goods. · Working to targets and deadlines. · Strict adherence to Health & Safety requirements. You will need to be VERY physically fit, comfortable with manual labour and speak a competent level of English. You must have your own Steel Toe Capped Safety Boots, NOT safety Trainers! Hours: 12-hour shifts (6 to 6) on a 3-week rotation. Week 1: Monday & Tuesday Days 6am to 6pm, Thursday & Friday Nights 6pm, to 6am. Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Days 6am to 6pm, Saturday 6am to 12 noon. Week 3: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Nights 6pm to 6am. Some weeks you would be working 34 hours, other weeks 40 hours as well as 46 hour working week hence the broad range in salary
