A key member of the Software Development team, you’ll be working on a growing SaaS product suite with clear commercial impact — features you build can materially move revenue. As the Lead Software Engineer, you'll have hands-on end-to-end ownership of projects, from product discovery and architecture through to implementation. There is heavy adoption of AI tooling (agentic AI) in the team and there's an opportunity to upskill on cutting edge developer workflows. You’ll also be involved in important, strategic conversations and will bring your creative thinking and ideas to the table, always looking at the bigger picture and what’s next.
You’ll be joining a global SaaS technology organisation that is the market leader in their sector. They are passionate about software and technology and are continually striving to be better and stay clear of their competitors. Although extremely well established with a huge customer base, they are continuing to grow and develop new products whilst embracing AI and its capabilities.
As a well-established Lead Software Engineer, you’ll have both a technical and commercial mindset when it comes to designing and building systems. Other skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Experience across all areas of full stack development and ideally in large scale SaaS platforms.
- Strong knowledge and experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Other technical knowledge required includes NodeJS, Vue, SQL Server.
- Forward thinking approach to producing quality software development and utilising AI.
- Experience of working in mature CI/CD environments and following DevSecOps methodologies.
This is an opportunity for someone passionate about technology who wants to join a fast-growing SaaS company. Salary for this role is £90,000 - 100,000 basic. It's a fully remote role.
