You'll be leading a team of 8-12 Staff/Senior Engineers within the business as they build out new products and inject AI into their platforms.
This is a hands off role, where you'll be line managing individuals, monitoring performance and owning the standard of products being created, ensuring long-term performance and productivity.
A key part of this role will be fostering and promoting a collaborative, productive environment where your reports are motivated to share ideas and improve process.

Some skills and knowledge you'll bring
- Extensive experience of managing a development team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong enthusiasm for AI and other modern practices.
- Strong experience in managing and monitoring engineering performance and implementing and driving continuous improvement.
- A background in hands on Software Development and experience in the following tech stack: Nest JS/Node JS, Redis, Type Script, SQL Server (other tech backgrounds will be considered).
- The ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the business.
