What it needs is a person who can own the product and engineering capability that makes that real, with accountability for the commercial outcomes that follow. The scope of this role is unusually broad: product vision, technical direction, and ARR growth sit in one seat.What you'll be doingOwning the Long Stays product vision, strategy and roadmap, with direct accountability for ARR growth and product north star metrics across hybrid operators, student accommodation, aparthotels and colivingLeading the full resident lifecycle as a product capability: from booking and lead-to-lease through billing automation, deposit lifecycle, index-linked rent increases, and tenant self-serviceSetting technical direction for the tribe: architecture decisions, engineering standards, system health, and the context repository that lets builders operate without constant handoffsDesigning and embedding AI-assisted delivery workflows across the tribe, building approaches the team follows, and actively checking AI output rather than accepting itAI Fluency Level 3: In this role, that means you have redesigned how a product or engineering team delivers using AI, built workflows others follow, and you consistently pressure-test what the tools give you. You know when AI output is right, when it needs work, and when it should not be used at all.For more information on AI fluency at Mews, please refer to "AI Fluency at Mews: A Comprehensive Guide for Candidates" on Confluence.What we're looking forExperience in both product leadership and hands-on building, moving between strategy and execution in the same weekTechnical depth to engage seriously with engineers on architecture, with clear opinions about what good looks likeA track record in a vertical or segment-specific product context, with commercial instincts to matchAI Fluency Level 3 or equivalent: you have rebuilt how a team works using AI, built approaches others follow, and you actively question what the tools give youPay Transparency at MewsSalary ranges are provided in good faith and reflect current market conditions and internal pay structures.
