Graduate Acoustic Consultant in Leicester

We’re looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our growing Leicestershire team. If you feel you are a good fit for the role of Graduate Acoustic Consultant working from our Leicester Office, key role responsibilities include:

• Undertake noise and vibration impact assessments
• Carry out sound insulation testing
• Complete computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics
• Produce technical reports suitable for client submission
• Maintain and build relationships with trusted clients
• Collaborate with the team from the commencement to completion of projects

This role can occasionally involve night and potentially weekend work, and travel throughout the UK for which you will be renumerated.

Key skills, experience and attributes required:

• Educated to a minimum standard of degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject
• Full UK driving licence
• Good numeracy skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly report writing and client liaison
• Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office
• The ability to make effective decisions whilst remaining calm under pressure
• Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
• Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of Building Regulations or British Standard industry guidelines
• On site construction experience
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD, CadnaA or similar design/analysis software packages
