We’re looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join, our growing Leicestershire team.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress a career in a specialist field of acoustics.

  • Key role responsibilities
  • Undertake noise and vibration impact assessments
  • Carry out sound insulation testing
  • Complete computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics
  • Produce technical reports suitable for client submission
  • Maintain and build relationships with trusted clients
  • Collaborate with team from the commencement to completion of projects
  • This role can occasionally involve night and potentially weekend work and travel throughout the UK for which you will be remunerated for.
  • Key skills, experience and attributes required
  • Educated to a minimum standard of degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly report writing and client liaison
  • Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office
  • The ability to make effective decisions whilst remaining calm under pressure Self‑motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Building Regulations or British Standard industry guidelines
  • On site construction experience
  • Experience in the use of Auto CAD, Cadna A or similar design/analysis software packages
