The role requires a highly motivated individual who prides themselves in organisation, attention to detail and accuracy as well as excellent communication skills. The main responsibility of the role is to ensure that our clients receive the highest levels of service at all times. The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world. You will have responsibility for maintaining and updating client records, as well as working closely with the partners of the firm, Patent and Trade Mark Administrators and other support staff.

About you: You will have experience of office administration, preferably within a professional services environment, and an ability to take responsibility for tasks being completed accurately and in a timely manner. Good communication skills will be essential to this role, as well as an understanding of prioritising workloads and an ability to work successfully as part of a team. You will be able to deliver great client service, demonstrating an ability to work methodically and accurately.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good level of general IT skills with knowledge of MS Office packages specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new systems including electronic filing, records and other internal IT systems relevant to the role.
  • Excellent administrative skills and the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.
  • Good level of attention to detail and the ability to take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn and develop skills within a professional services environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
