Responsibilities
- Safely operate our delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations, including multi-drop deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers with a smile and ensuring their needs are met.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that all items are handled carefully.
- Follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and report any shortages or damages promptly.
- Nights out required – hotel accommodation provided. No weekend work required, with overtime opportunities available.
- A degree of flexibility is needed to meet delivery schedules and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigating maps.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle checks.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
