For our client, an international investment company, we are looking for a Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) 100%.
Primary location: London (preferred) or Cyprus (relocation options available).
Reports to: Group CEO.
Division: Asset & Wealth Management.
About the Role:
The Group COO ensures the organization operates as a high-performing, digitally advanced, regulatory-compliant, and scalable entity. This role combines traditional operational leadership with a mandate for transformation — building the “operations of the future” through automation, data-driven decision making, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate the Group’s strategy into a clear, actionable operational model across all jurisdictions.
- Lead global operations (front-, middle-, and back-office).
- Drive efficiency, scalability, and excellence in client and operational processes.
- Personally lead digital transformation initiatives, automation, and AI adoption.
- Ensure strong governance, compliance, and operational risk management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Finance.
Requirements:
Your Profile:
- 15+ years of experience in financial services, with recent hands-on experience as COO / Head of Operations in asset management or private banking within the last 3–5 years.
- Direct experience managing operations, digital transformation, automation, and process improvements — not just strategic oversight.
- Practical expertise in Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing multi-jurisdiction operations in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, and internal controls.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of shaping a high-performance culture.
- Purely strategic, advisory, or supervisory roles will not be considered.
Benefits:
Why This Role is Unique:
- Dual focus: ensuring operational excellence today while transforming the business for the next decade.
- Direct strategic partnership with the Group CEO.
- Full accountability for operational consistency and digital advancement across jurisdictions.
- Opportunity to build a unified global operating model.
- Leadership mission to establish the technological and cultural foundation for the Group’s long-term growth.
If you can identify yourself with the requirements of this challenging position, we look forward to receiving your application (English CV and certificates/diplomas).
