Role Title: Learning Technology Manager Salary: up to £55,000 basic salary, plus company car and bonus Location: Hybrid – home based with UK travel Our client are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Learning Technology Manager to lead on the implementation and management a new Learning Experience Platform (LXP). As the Learning Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic implementation, management, and evaluation of learning technologies that support our clients employees. You will collaborate with internal teams and the chosen external platform provider to ensure seamless integration of technology into learning environments, driving innovation and improving outcomes. You will harness the latest in learning technology to enhance the learning experiences across the organisation and actively promote the LXP and the ongoing development of the platform. Responsibilities include: Leading on the creation and implementation of a comprehensive learning technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives Ensuring successful delivery of the learning technology plan by engaging and influencing a variety of stakeholders to gain buy in, winning hearts and minds Overseeing key strategic learning projects, ensuring that learning technology and the learner experience are central to all decision-making processes Managing LXP’s and partner suppliers; improving the user experience, improving system performance (including data integrations and quality) and delivering key system enhancements in line with wider business plans Overseeing the day-to-day management of the learning technology ecosystem Taking a cost-conscious approach to all budgetary decisions, ensuring alignment with group budgeting priorities Championing the operating model, holding the business accountable where necessary and driving learner consistency Designing and implementing governance processes, ensuring adherence and prioritising work in line with business plans Utilising and analysing data to understand how team members interact with learning technology Building data-driven business cases to influence the learning agenda Acting as an SME for learning technology, keeping abreast of innovation in digital content solutions, researching and developing solutions based on the latest trends and research Candidate requirements: An understanding of digital system methods such as HR data structures, API’s, SAML, Networking technology/terminology Good understanding of technology and digital learning, with a high-level understanding of LXP technology requirements UX-UI design skills to draw out user experiences, working with internal tech teams as well as suppliers that require guidance and leadership to design solutions Experience in learning design User Experience and User Interface design and/or process mapping experience Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders across a multisite organisation Strong project management experience applying cultural and behavioural change theories in practice Excellent consulting and critical analysis skills Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across global teams Able to present technical information and data to a senior audience in a compelling simplistic way Commitment to continuous improvement and finding creative solutions Able to embrace and drive change Courage to challenge the status quo and balance high-level perspective with pragmatic approach Full UK Driving Licence is essential Formal training qualification including: CIPD, CTLLS, PTLLS, DTLLS, NVQ in Learning and Development are advantageous If this sounds of interest please send your CV in Word format, quoting reference 32206/LT/ED detailing your current remuneration package and availability.
