We are looking for a proactive and skilled Field Service Technician to carry out both reactive and preventative service work—including installation, commissioning, certification, and maintenance of our product inspection and systems equipment. Responsibilities
- Carry out routine performance verification and preventative maintenance.
- Professionally install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimise customer downtime.
- Promote audits, calibrations, and validation activities to ensure equipment meets industry standards.
- Meet established KPIs and ensure all administrative tasks, including record maintenance, are completed on time.
- Travel regularly to various customer sites to provide on‑site technical support.
- Manage and maintain vehicle stock effectively to ensure high first‑time fix rates.
- Have a degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Show strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Handle customer queries and site visits in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage multiple priorities with excellent time‑management skills.
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to keep customers and the office fully briefed.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence, as this role requires travel to various customer locations.
