As a Field Sales Representative, you will take ownership of pipette sales across your territory, growing new business while strengthening long‑term customer relationships. You’ll work closely with scientists, laboratory managers, and internal teams to understand customer needs and deliver high‑quality solutions using our industry‑leading RAININ products. This is a field‑based role with regular travel to customer sites, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture key UK accounts, establishing strong, strategic partnerships with customers.
- Proactively generate leads and build a solid pipeline for both immediate and future sales opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to advance sales prospects from initial qualification through to order fulfillment.
- Keep customer and prospect data accurate and current using CRM systems.
- Develop and maintain in‑depth technical expertise on RAININ and other METTLER TOLEDO product offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer value by conducting site visits, hosting seminars, and participating in industry events.
- Regularly share insights on market developments and performance within your sales territory.
What You Need to Succeed
- Degree in a life science discipline.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, with strong understanding of pipettes.
- Proven account management experience.
- Territory management experience and strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement.
