METTLER TOLEDO Safeline has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Designer to join our Head Office located next to Media City UK, Salford. The role will be a combination of onsite and home working, with flexible working hours.

  • Learn and Grow: As a Content Designer you will work alongside subject matter experts within the service team as well as experts from other departments, to design and create eLearning, eDemo, videos and presentations. Driving best practice with engaging content that enhances the learning experience and ensures our engineers can deliver the highest level of service globally.
  • Global Influence: This content will serve our global engineers and technicians, helping them advance their knowledge and skills in a fast‑paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Content Planning: Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify key learning objectives and develop comprehensive content plans that meet the needs for global technicians and engineers.
  • Content Creation: Design and produce engaging interactive digital learning materials using Articulate Rise 360 and Synthesia, including videos and images that enhance the learning experience. Conversion of existing training materials such as service manuals into digital content. Comfortable streaming and assisting with live training content. Collaborating outside of the service team to provide input and guidance on best practice.
  • Previous Shooting and Editing Experience: Utilize your videography and editing skills to create visually appealing informative video content that reinforces the purposes of the learning objectives. Motivation to consistently improve within your role by gathering feedback from learners and stakeholders. Confidence to creatively lead the project of multi‑course development material.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous use of camera equipment to shoot and stream content – Cameras, webcams, lighting, iPhone.
  • Understanding of audio equipment – Mixers, microphones.
  • Previous use of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, InDesign), Articulate Storyline and Synthesia is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail to assist your commitment to producing high‑quality learning content.
