We are looking for a proactive and skilled Field Service Technician to provide both reactive and proactive service work including installation, commissioning, certification, and maintenance of product inspection and systems equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine performance verification and preventative maintenance
  • Install and commission new equipment
  • Rectify breakdowns efficiently
  • Promote audits, calibrations, and validation activities
  • Adhere to KPIs and complete all administrative tasks promptly
  • Travel regularly to customer sites, including occasional visits to Leicester
  • Maintain and manage stock responsibly

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in a customer-facing service environment: You should be comfortable interacting directly with customers, understanding their needs, troubleshooting issues on-site, and providing clear, professional communication. This includes managing customer expectations and ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Technical proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering: A solid understanding and hands-on experience with electrical circuits, electronic components, and mechanical systems are essential. You should be capable of diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and executing maintenance tasks effectively across these technical domains.
