Mettler Toledo is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our growing Service Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading instrumentation and measurement technology, supporting customers across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Install, commission, and qualify new equipment, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
- Deliver high-quality service activities efficiently, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Submit all field service reports, documentation, and expense claims promptly and accurately.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Previous experience in field service, instrumentation, calibration, or related engineering disciplines.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and documentation abilities.
- A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence.
