Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the UK finance accounting and reporting function, managing a team of finance professionals and working closely with operational stakeholders and global Shared Service Centres.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial reporting while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial reporting and accounting activities for the UK organisation.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in accordance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and corporate requirements.
- Partner with the Head of Finance and key stakeholders to provide financial insight and support informed business decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build effective working relationships with global Shared Service Centres to ensure high-quality accounting support and service delivery.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls, and reporting practices.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, and SOX regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisers, and HMRC.
- Prepare and oversee statutory accounts, tax packs, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions.
- Support working capital optimisation, with particular focus on accounts receivable performance.
