About the Role
The Material Controller plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing flow by managing raw material demand signals through the MRP system and translating these into accurate and timely purchase orders to the supply chain. Working closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Planning, Commercial, and Finance, the post-holder will ensure that raw materials are delivered in the correct quantities, to plan, correctly packaged, fully documented, and compliant with all specification requirements. This role is critical in balancing dynamic demand with supply chain capability to support on‑time delivery and business performance.
As a condition of employment successful candidates are required to satisfy ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance and must fulfil the following before commencing this role:
- Currently hold the legal Right to Work in the UK with no future sponsorship requirement
- Provide a consistent 5‑year UK domicile
- Fulfil a DBS clearance
- Pass Drugs
