We are seeking a Production Support Officer who will be processing production orders and purchasing to support the Fabrication and Assembly East supply chain manufacturing locations, driving efficiency and ensuring on-time delivery. Our team culture is all about getting it done – together. We are diverse and spread far apart geographically – however we actively support each other closely in day-to-day work, to overcome challenges and issues that may arise and promote positive communication. This is very much an administrative role and only those with full working rights in Australia need apply.

- Supply Chain Practices: Understand Supply Chain manufacturing facility practices to ensure smooth end-to-end processes. Target key cost drivers within the supply chain to reduce procurement costs.
- Purchase Orders: Liaise with project management, production and other functions to specify procurement needs. Efficiently process purchase orders and collect necessary vendor quality paperwork.
- Expediting Requests: Respond promptly to expediting requests from internal stakeholders to meet end customer requirements.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate vendor pricing and procurement of materials according to supply chain estimates and customer requirements.
- Cost Management: Target key cost drivers within the supply chain to reduce procurement costs.
- Order Processing: Ensure prompt processing of orders and production orders, including setting up bill of materials and routings to minimize impact on customers and supply locations.
- SAP Knowledge: Develop SAP key user knowledge for transactional processing in line with company processes and procedures.
- Systems Understanding: Gain an understanding of systems transactional knowledge to assist in testing changes and improvements within the supply chain.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team problem-solving activities and contribute to knowledge management.
- Customer and Vendor Interaction: Handle interactions with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of products.
