What you will do:

  • Carry out mise-en-place and ensure all preparations are arranged neatly and orderly before service.
  • Help with the preparation of dishes and service for daily events and functions, under the supervision of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Minimise waste by using ingredients following the recipe, checking date labels, and controlling quality.
  • Be prepared to work on different tasks during the day, shifting quickly from one job to another and remain focused.
  • Assist both the Executive Chef and the Sous Chef in the day-to-day operations of the department as required, helping also with the supervision and training of junior Chefs.

Who you are:

  • Have experience preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty.
  • You will have experience managing and training Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working with you.
  • Will have previous experience working in a fast paced Kitchen.
  • Experience working within a team.
