The Opportunity
At Duke Of York, we are looking for Front of House Team Members who enjoy working as part of a team. We will provide all the training and support you need to build your skills. What’s most important is your ability to connect with the team and help create a positive experience for our guests.

We're a small batch of handpicked locals – your home for British hospitality. At the bottom of the staggering Whitby 199 steps is The Duke Of York, a traditional British pub in the heart of Whitby. Our food menu offers a range of delicious British classics and more modern delights, from Sunday lunches to hearty breakfasts, sumptuous sweets and more. Or, if our guests are looking for some well‑earned refreshment after completing the descent, our selection of cask and craft ales, wines, spirits and cocktails will do the trick nicely. We also offer eight stunning en-suite rooms, making us the perfect long and short‑stay spot for regulars and visitors looking to explore our beautiful seaside town.
