Role Overview
The role reports to the Assistant Income Manager or Senior Income Assistant. It ensures all sources of rental income are recorded accurately in the finance accounting system, posted to resident rent accounts in the housing management system promptly, and reconciled with bank statements in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post rental income in the finance accounting system (e.g., Oracle) and housing management system (e.g., Northgate).
- Reconcile rental income with bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all income transactions.
- Produce and review reports related to rent collections.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with rent accounting systems such as Northgate and finance accounting systems such as Oracle or equivalent.
