The predicted salary is between 29228 - 30766 £ per year.
As a Care and Support Team Leader you will join our team providing support to vulnerable adults with mental health issues in various services across the London Borough of Haringey. Our services provide short term accommodation for people with mental health. We provide practical support including settling customers into their home as well as creating holistic support plans to support with more complex requirements while also managing risk.
You will be leading your team to enable people to live as independently as possible whilst supporting them to lead an active and fulfilled life. You will also be responsible for team management for annual leave, sickness and performance management, as well as team building and forward planning. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for working closely with people with mental health and want to constantly promote and support our customers’ well-being. As a Team Leader and senior member of staff you will be efficient, motivated and organised; being able to work to deadlines and meet set KPIs and objectives. You will need the following skills and experience for the role:
- Effective staff management skills
- Some line management experience
- Experience of delivering personal care & support to vulnerable customers
- Experience writing & reviewing support plans and risk assessments
- Confidence at learning new IT skills
To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
