About the role


Head of Portfolio Management will play a vital role in the Technology Leadership Team, overseeing the Technology contributions to the MTVH 2030 strategic initiatives. This position ensures that all aspects of change, strategy, governance, communication, and successful implementation are aligned within the Technology Directorate.

What you'll do



  • Lead the execution of the Technology strategy on behalf of the Group CIO.

  • Ensure effective management and delivery of strategic programmes across the Technology Directorate.


Requirements



  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in portfolio management or project delivery within a technology-focused environment.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale technology projects and programmes.

  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and strategic alignment in technology initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.


Skills & tools



  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.

  • Familiarity with portfolio management software and tools.

  • Experience with stakeholder management and change management processes.

  • Knowledge of technology trends and their application in housing and community services.
