The City Barge is a historic 14th-century public house with a wealth of history behind it and is situated on the Thames riverside, nestled in the picturesque area of Strand on the Green, Chiswick.
Overview
As manager, you call the shots and make sure everything’s spot-on. You’ll work with the head chef to plan, tweak and change the menu every season. You’ll decide on weekly events and what you’ll do for Valentine’s. You’ll determine who’s working for you and what they’ll do next. We’re massive advocates of local pubs being just that, local, with their own character and charm. We were acquired by Greene King in 2011 and have continued to flourish under their umbrella. We have around 65 “urban locals” where we are proud to create warm and friendly places our guests don’t want to leave and teams who feel exactly the same.
