This will mean, at times, covering for the PA.

  • Delivering first class support to the DMBS, through effective systems, processes and ways of working, and working with the PA to ensure excellent use of their time.
  • Ensuring the DMBS has all relevant briefings and governance papers, tracking things that have been asked for by the private office, and ensuring that these asks are delivered to time and to a high standard.
  • Prioritising the DMBS’s workload, ensuring that actions are followed up and deadlines are met.
  • Management and monitoring of the DMBS’s busy mailbox.
  • Collating and coordinating any materials the DMBS requires to undertake their role. Other ad hoc duties at the request of the DMBS.

  • Playing a full role in MPS Private Office, including cross-floor working and forums.
  • Promoting a culture of respect, inclusion and high standards, in line with the Met’s mission and values.
