You will work closely with Detective Inspectors and the wider leadership team, providing high-quality administrative, performance, and operational support. Your work will directly contribute to improving outcomes for victims, enhancing team efficiency, and supporting compliance with national and local policing priorities, including the principles of Operation Soteria. • Staff Engagement: Coordinate staff surveys, wellbeing initiatives, and internal communications to foster a resilient and motivated team.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain team rotas, meeting schedules, and action trackers aligned with investigative priorities, assisting the Op Soteria DS implementing NOM products.
  • Reporting: Prepare dashboards and summaries for senior leadership, performance boards, and Operation Soteria reviews.
  • Digital & Forensic Strategy Support: Liaise with digital hubs and forensic teams to ensure timely submission and tracking of evidence.
  • Contextual Enquiry Oversight: Assist in mapping and tracking contextual safeguarding concerns and third-party disclosures.
  • Liaison: Act as point of contact for internal departments (e.g., CPS, SOCO, Digital Forensics) and external partners (e.g., HAVEN, NHS).
  • Compliance: Support audit readiness and ensure documentation aligns with MPS standards and Operation Soteria frameworks.
  • Information Sharing: Assisting with Family Law disclosures and CPD improvements via RASSO HQ.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge: Understanding of policing, Op Soteria, Safeguarding, or justice sector operations. Awareness of Operation Soteria principles and trauma-informed approaches. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Skills: Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional discretion and commitment to confidentiality. Experience in data handling and performance reporting.
  • Experience: Previous experience in office management, business support, or administrative coordination. Working with senior teams and managing competing demands. Familiarity with performance frameworks or operational data.
