Overview
The role of Regional Repairs Manager (Disrepair) involves overseeing a team of Property Surveyors and a Partnering Support Officer, managing Disrepair, Complex Repairs, Insurance Claims, Complaints, Alterations Requests, and other response repairs activity across the MTVH stock in Nottingham/East Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Manage contractors in line with contracts, seeking continuous improvement and ensuring clear communication with all parties.
- Carefully monitor workstreams, ensure accurate and robust record keeping, and provide reports on performance for all KPIs.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and a background in managing a multifaceted repairs team.
- Manage disrepair cases with experience presenting as an expert witness in disrepair hearings.
- Have experience in Contract/Project Management (essential).
- Work in Social Housing, Building Surveying, or a regulated field.
- Deal with customers from different backgrounds, delivering a positive and transparent service.
- Analyse customer feedback to achieve service improvements.
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Work with external stakeholders.
- Respond to customer enquiries on the phone and in writing.
- Manage budgets, adhering to set budgets and managing expectations.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding workforce.
- Be a self-starter who isn’t afraid of challenge.
- Must have a car and business insurance.
