What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an Assistant Casino Manager to support and assist the Venue Director and Casino Managers in achieving the highest possible standard in the overall operation of the club and to ensure compliance with the Gambling Act, Company’s Gaming Manual and Code of Conduct, Health and Safety legislation, and all company rules and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • All gaming operations are carried out to optimum standards of efficiency.
  • Outstanding levels of customer service are delivered by the gaming team on a consistent basis in line with company expectations.
  • Proactively contribute towards discussions on the business at management meetings.
  • Support the implementation of all internal and external marketing and sales activity.
  • Ensure gaming is conducted to the Rules of Casino Games and Company procedures and report any breaches promptly.
  • Maintain an optimum level of suitably experienced staff on shift to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Develop good communications throughout the venue and with other properties where necessary.
  • Pass all information from visits by officials of statutory bodies to the Venue Director and/or Casino Manager on duty.
  • Prioritise good customer relations on the casino floor.
  • Supervise all team members and ensure adherence to standards required by the Gaming Manual and Company rules.
  • Ensure all gaming equipment is functioning properly and maintain an hourly report sheet with casino results and cash drop.
  • Assist with the supervision of count procedures.
  • Notify senior management immediately of any disputes or customer requests that cannot be settled on the casino floor.
  • Develop junior team members by providing support and feedback regularly.
  • Conduct investigations into employee absences, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Assist with identifying the potential of gaming team members for informed decisions regarding training, salaries, and promotion.
  • Identify underperforming team members and recommend remedial action.
  • Actively promote and ensure company initiatives concerning employee engagement are followed.
  • Use appropriate reward and recognition interventions to highlight role model employees.
  • Promote the licensing objectives as set out in the Gambling Act 2005.
  • Report any regulatory compliance matters to the central compliance function.
  • Ensure full compliance with company and legal procedures in all areas.
  • Liaise with the security department to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Carry out checks of gaming equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

Assistant Casino Managers will spend a large portion of their shift on their feet working directly with the public.
