What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Sales and Events Executive to proactively drive sales, events, and bookings into the venue. Manage all booking and event enquiries that come into the venue. Manage and coordinate sports, events, and experience packages held within the venue.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with HVC BDM Manager and implement sales plans for each area of the venue.
  • Achieve pro-active and reactive sales targets set.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities with the local area for the venue.
  • Drive brand awareness for the venue.
  • Manage and convert incoming enquiries into bookings.
  • Initiate, maintain, and grow B2B relationships.
  • Implement a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.
  • Monitor competitor’s sales activity and utilise learnings where appropriate.
  • Handle all in-bound email and telephone enquiries for sports, experience package & events enquiries.
  • Maximise sales opportunities for all events, such as up-selling packages.
  • Manage daily administration associated with the job role, including event diary management and payment processing.
  • Produce function sheets for all events within the casino.
  • Update all reports and paperwork associated with all events.
  • Update all company systems associated with all events within the casino.
  • Provide clients with appropriate paperwork including online contracts, invoices, credits, and payment processing.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the success of all events within the casino.
  • Provide the F&B Manager with creative input for upcoming internally hosted events.
  • Show prospective clients the area(s) assigned for corporate events.
  • Undertake site visits in a professional and customer-focused way.
  • Maximise sales opportunities and control costs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Coordinate event information from the client and provide effective administrative support.
  • Assist with sourcing appropriate acts and entertainment for all available areas within the premises.
  • Hold weekly communication meetings.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef and all departmental managers for bespoke bookings and special requests.
  • Work towards achieving departmental and individual revenue targets.
  • Assist the management team with Health & Safety aspects of large-scale events.
  • Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries, and troubleshoot on the day of events.
