Responsibilities
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HASTUS and iDash.
- Create training materials and resources for HASTUS and iDash.
- Use research and analytics to conduct projects to support the business needs of the department.
- Assist with system testing and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
- Reply to internal customer emails in a prompt manner.
- Coordinate with other BSA’s to divide tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Required Experience and Education
- High school diploma with 4 years of related experience, OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of related experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating and modifying Python scripts.
- Experience using MS reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI.
- Modern SharePoint site administration experience.
- Cloud storage or content management experience.
- Experience in MS Power App and Power Automate.
- Experience in SQL Database query.
- Experience in a governmental or public‑sector environment (Government Community Cloud).
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Teams, video conferencing technology, and hybrid meetings.
- Previous or current experience in a similar position.
- Experience promoting an equitable, positive, and respectful work environment that values culture and diversity among all employees.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (first 6 months)
- Knowledge of goals, operating procedures, workflow and regulations regarding department functions.
- Knowledge of workflow analysis and simplification techniques.
- Intermediate computer skills in word processing, complex spreadsheets, graphics presentations and database management (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports or similar application preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers or clients.
- Ability to interpret and apply mathematics and statistical methods and procedures gained through professional educational training.
- Requires skill to provide basic client services to the public and other agencies within the organization.
- Requires tact, courtesy and cooperation in dealings with others where the primary purpose is the exchange of information.
