Job Summary
We’re excited to announce a brand new opportunity for a Facilities Co-Ordinator to join a market leading Public Transport Operator – Metroline Manchester on a 12 month FTC. You will support the Facilities Manager in day-to-day building/site operations, including planned and reactive maintenance, overseeing cleaning of properties, and security. The role is predominantly based at the Wythenshawe depot (M23 9ET) but requires flexibility to travel to our other depots Hyde Road, Sharston and Tameside.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
- Accurate and timely maintenance of building records, including asset registers, PPM schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in managing BMS systems and supporting sustainability initiatives across the portfolio.
- Work closely with other depot managers and fleet engineers as well as with contractors, insurance assessors.
- Promote a culture of safety, well-being, and operational excellence across all managed sites.
- Work closely with SHEQ team to provide a safe culture and environment for all staff, visitors and contractors.
- Support reporting processes for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide project administration support for refurbishment and improvement works.

Essential Criteria
- 2-3 years’ experience in a facilities role (ideally within commercial, industrial sector)
- Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance coordination, and contractor management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation (e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable)
Contract details
- Salary £30,000- £35,000 DOE
- Full time contract 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
- Location predominantly Wythenshawe, requires flexibility to travel to other depots ie Sharston, Hyde Road and Tameside
- 12 month Fixed Term Contract
