The ramp engineer is responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicle ramps fitted on all buses in the Metroline Travel and Metroline West fleets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ramp inspections
  • Ramp strip down and repair
  • Collating and planning work
  • Liaising with garage engineers
  • Updating ramp database

Essential Criteria:

  • Technically adept
  • Demonstrable experience in an engineering background
  • Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Sound mechanical knowledge of PCV requirements

  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet requirements
  • Flexibility to change priorities and resources quickly to meet the needs of the garage
