Our Metrocentre location is looking for an experienced and adaptable Kitchen Assistant to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, broths, sauces, and ramen toppings.
  • Assist with grilling and ramen station during service.
  • Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and hygienic.
  • Support stock checks, deliveries, and kitchen opening/closing duties.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic food prep/knife skills and interest in Japanese cuisine.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to food hygiene standards.
