We are looking for energetic, reliable and organised Shop Floor Assistants to join our busy team at Paris Dress House. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role focused on keeping our store looking immaculate, preparing stock and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Steaming and preparing dresses to a high standard
- Keeping the shop floor, rails and stock areas clean, tidy and organised
- Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Receiving, unpacking and checking off deliveries accurately
- Pricing, tagging and preparing new stock for the shop floor
- Putting dresses back in the correct locations after appointments
- Organising stock rooms and storage areas
- Checking dresses for marks, damage or missing tags
- Supporting stylists with stock during busy appointments
- General housekeeping and maintaining excellent presentation standards throughout the day
Who We’re Looking For:
This is a fast‑moving environment, particularly during our peak prom season, so you’ll need to be comfortable staying busy and working at a fast pace at all times.

- Confident working independently once trained

Entry‑level applicants are welcome, so previous fashion or retail experience is not essential. Full training will be provided. More experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply, with opportunities for additional responsibility depending on experience.
Salary: Dependent on age and previous experience, in line with applicable minimum wage requirements.
Daytime, evening and weekend availability is required depending on contracted hours. The job is a temporary position with the opportunity to stay on or progress into an alternative contract.
